Board of Governors
The Board of Governors operating under the Ministry of Education governs Moiben Technical and vocational college.. The BOG is also involved in resource mobilization towards development activities of Moiben Technical and vocational college. Currently the Board is under the very able Chairmanship of Dr. Michael Aiyabei Chesire. The day-to-day operations are coordinated by the Principal, Dr Barasa oroni.

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you all to Moiben Technical and vocational college which is one of the public Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions offering Diploma, Craft and Artisan courses in technical and business skill sets.
The core driving force at MTVC is to produce mid-level professionals and technologists who can devote themselves to a national development through the dissemination of technical knowledge in every field of society through the competency based programmes.
Our mandate is to provide training on skills required in the realization of the big four agenda and the Bottom up Economic Transformation(BETA). The specialized courses offered here are facilitated through two main admitting departments providing practical instruction, namely;
The management of the institution is governed through the Board of Governors operating under the Ministry of Education, State Department for Technical.Vocational Education and Training(SDTVET). Currently all students in TVET institutions are given scholarship by the ministry of education and are also eligible for HELB loan and bursaries upon application.

Moiben Technical and vocational college is a government flagship project set up to champion specific TVET courses together with other TVET institutions country wide .To be able to accomplish this, we have to set high standard quality service delivery and pursue them to fulfill our mandate. The main propellant of our commitment is the trust bestowed upon us by the government and other main stakeholders who have always and tirelessly supported us realize our goal.
It is therefore expected that as a TVET institution, we reciprocate this gesture by intensifying creativity and innovation through quality training and in collaboration with other institutions and industry players. With God's help we shall strive to strengthen internal quality control mechanisms and expand college infrastructure to accommodate ever increasing student population and hence play our role towards actualizing the Bottom up Economic Transformation(BETA) and vision 2030

The office of the registrar is mandated to carry out student admission. In this office, we are committed to providing quality service as illustrated in our service charter, in a timely and efficient manner, always being mindful of those we serve and with whom we relate.
Our institution also participates in Promotion of Research, Innovation, Greening and Digitalization through participation in STI activities, which is key to development and Implementation of Sustainable TVET Policies in Kenya.
MTVC is a registered examination/assessment centre for KNEC and TVET-CDACC programmes.The examination/Assessment section mainly deals with registration of candidates for exams, monitoring, development and validation of assessment tools and moderation of examinations, providing examinations assessment schedules and time tables, keeping assessment records of all internal exams and communicating with the examining bodies on all exam matters.

The dean's office has the following sections: Guidance & counseling, Catering, Accommodation & House keeping, Health & Sanitation, Sports & Recreation, Student's governance/Leadership, Alcohol ,Drug & substance Abuse(ADA), HIV/AIDS sensitization.
The office therefore provides the listed services. Guidance and Counseling services to students, Organization of student's activities, Orientation of new students, Students Rights Advocacy, Registration of student's organization(clubs and societies), Dissemination of information among others..
